National Park Service Project

Each spring the Service Committee presents an opportunity for the giving of cheerful service in our our National Parks. For several years now we have been asked to help stop the invasion of our National Parks by alien invasive plants. These invasive plants must be eliminated so that the local ecosystem can survive. Brothers from our Lodge assemble with Scouts from across the Atlanta Area Council at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area to identify and remove these invasive plants. The service project for 2012 will occur March 3rd. Watch the Lodge web site and your email for details.

Submit your email address to the Egwa E-list and you'll be notified as details become available.
