National Park Service Project
Each spring the Service Committee presents an opportunity for the giving of cheerful service in our our National Parks. For several years now we have been asked to help stop the invasion of our National Parks by alien invasive plants. These invasive plants must be eliminated so that the local ecosystem can survive. On Saturday March 6 2010 Brothers from our Lodge assembled with Scouts from across the Atlanta Area Council at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area to identify and remove these invasive plants.
